Extensively used by British Police Forces since the 1970s, Aluminium is a low cost dusting powder that is used for general dusting situations i.e. on glass, metallic surfaces, highly varnished wooden surfaces, enameled articles etc. It is not suitable for wet, very rough or dirty surfaces.
The wearing of an appropriate dust respirator is recommended and especially during lengthy examinations or in confined and poorly ventilated areas.
Please Note: Over-loading the brush (normally soft hair or glass fibre) should be avoided.
